Gaya Bahasa Dalam Cerita Rakyat Riau

This study aims to describe qualitatively the type of language style and meaning contained in the Riau Folklore. This research is a qualitative descriptive study and the data source in this is using story books which are compared to the Rokan Hulu Folklore and the Bumi Lancang Kuning Folklore in the story. There are 4 language styles for the people of Riau, namely Comparative Language Style, Contrasting Language Style, Linkage Language Style and Repetitive Language Style in Rokan Hulu Folklore and Bumi Lancang Kuning Folklore, there are 103 data. The style of language in the Rokan Hulu folklore is 59 data in the form of language style, while the Bumi Lancang Kuning Folklore is 44 data in the form of language style. Rokan Hulu is a pleonasm language style, and Bumi Lancang Kuning folklore is a simile language style.
