ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research aims to determine how much influence inflation, gross domestic product and foreign direct investment on the rupiah exchange rate against USD in Indonesia. This research use independen variables those are inflation, gross domestic product and foreign direct investment, and also dependent variable is rupiah exchange rate.
The data used in this research is quartal’s data. The method used in this research is descriptive and quantitative methods and analized partially or simultaneously with multiple linier regression OLS (ordinary least square) which processed by using SPSS 24.
The results of the analysis showed that inflation, gross domestic product, foreign direct investment have significant effect on rupiah exchange rate simultaneously. Meanwhile, inflation has significant positive effect on the rupiah exchange rate. Gross domestic product has a significant positive effect on the rupiah exchange rate. And foreign direct investment has a significant negative effect on the rupiah exchange rate. In addition, it was found that the value of adjusted
is 90,6%.
