Aplikasi Cendawan Entomopatogen Beauveria Bassiana Vuill Lokal Terhadap Larva Oryctes Rhinoceros L. Pada Tanaman Kelapa Sawit Belum Menghasilkan Di Sei Siasam, Kabupaten Rokan Hulu, Provinsi Riau
Palm oil production in Riau province has is decreased. decreased production in PTPN V Sei Galuh reached 69% in the first year, TBM 2 and TBM 3 areas and caused death in young plants up to 20% of the land area. The purpose of this study was to obtain the best dose of CEP B. bassiana Vuill local in controlling Oryctes rhinoceros larvae in immature oil palm plantations in Sei Siasam, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province. The field experiments were carried out in Sei siasam, Rokan Hulu Regency and the Laboratory of Plant Pests, Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University from June to August 2021. This study was conducted experimentally using a completely randomized design (RAL) with 5 treatments and 4 replications, so there are 20 experimental units. The parametes obseved were the initial time of death of the host insect (hour), lethal time50 (LT50) (hour), daily mortality (%), total mortality (%), temperature and humidity, behavioral and morphological changes. The data obtained were analyzed by analysis of varians (ANOVA) then continued with duncan multiple range test (DMRT) using software is that SAS 9.00. The result showed that the applications of the fungus B. bassiana Vuill local at a dose of 40 g/m2 was expressed as a bioinsecticide with an initial time of death of 77 hours after application, a time of death 50 180.75 hours after application, the highest daily mortality of 12.5% on the eleventh day, and a total mortality of 72.5%. The dose of 50 g/m2 was the best dose for O. rhinoceros larvae with an initial death time of 49 hours after application, a death time of 50,168 hours after application, the highest daily mortality of 17.5% on the eighth day, and a total mortality of 85%.
