Uji Beberapa Varietas Padi (Oryza Sativa L.) Dengan Perbedaan Tinggi Muka Air Tanah
The purpose of this study was to determine the growth and production of severalvarieties of rice (Oryza sativa L.) at different groundwater levels. Thus providing a value for each variety that is able to adapt according to the applied groundwater level. This research was conducted in the school area of MTS Al Muttaqin Pekanbaru, Riau Province from February to June 2020. The field experiment used a Split Pot Design (SPD) in the form of factorial, namely 6 varieties with 3 treatments and 4 replications. Parameters observed were plant height, number of productive tillers, age of flowering, panicle length, harvest age, percentage of pithy grain, weight of milled dry grain per clump and weight of 1000 grains of pithy grain. Data were analyzed by BNT test at 5% level using SPSS version 22.0 program. The results showed that there were different influences and tendencies on the parameters of plant height, panicle length and percentage of pithy grain per clump. However, the value of one variety is not always dominant in all differences in groundwater level when compared to other varieties.
