Pengaruh Penggunaan Bahan Setek Dan Konsentrasi Larutan Bawang Merah Terhadap Pertumbuhan Setek Jeruk Lemon (Citrus Limon (L.) Burm.F.)

The propagation of lemon plants through cuttings is more profitable, because it does not require special skills, and can produce plants that have properties like the parent. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of planting material and the best concentration of shallot solution between treatments, and to obtain the best concentration of shallot solution and planting material for the growth and development of lemon cuttings. The experiment was conducted in Kubang Jaya Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency from April to July 2020. The design used was a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 3 replications. The first treatment was cutting material consisting of (tip, middle and base). The second treatment was the difference in the concentration of the shallot solution consisting of 0%, 25%, 50% and 75%. Parameters observed were shoot emergence time, shoot length, number of shoots, number of leaves and root volume. Research data analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and continued with Duncan's multiple range test at level of 5%. The results showed that the combination of the use of cuttings at the base and a concentration of 25% shallot solution was the best treatment for the growth of lemon cuttings in the nursery.
