Pengaruh Zeolit Sekam Padi Dan Pupuk N Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Padi Gogo (Oryza Sativa L.) Pada Medium Podsolik
ABSTRACT
Upland rice production can be increased by utilizing sub-optimal land. However, efforts need to be made to increase the availability of nutrients and water in the soil. This study aims to increase the growth and yield of upland rice by applying rice husk zeolite and N fertilizer. The research was conducted experimentally factorial using completely randomized design (CRD). The first factor of rice husk zeolite consisted of 3 levels (0, 200 and 400 kg.ha-1) and the second factor of N fertilizer consisted of 3 levels (0, 75 and 125 kg N.ha-1), each combination was repeated three times. The results showed that the interaction of 200 kg.ha-1 rice husk zeolite and 125 kg N.ha-1 increased plant height, maximum number of tillers, weight of 1000 grains, accelerated age of panicle exit and harvest. Furthermore, the parameters of the number of productive tillers, grain per panicle and weight of dry milled grain per clump increased by 56.78%, 16.8% and 80% respectively compared to without rice husk zeolite and N fertilizer.
