Analisis Rantai Pasok Dan Nilai Tambah Kopra Di Kecamatan Kempas Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir

ABSTRACT
Delays the raw materials from farmer can hamper the production process of copra. The increasing number of copra producers in Kempas District and outside region becomes a competitor for CV Amarta. This research aimed to analyze supply chain and added value copra in Kempas District Indragiri Hilir Regency. This research conducted in CV Amarta Kempas District Indragiri Hilir Regency and Laboratory of Technology and Agroindustry Management, Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University. This research used descriptive qualitative and quantitative method. The descriptive qualitative aimed to describe the supply chain of copra and formulate strategy alternative by employing SWOT method. It also for deciding the priority strategy by using pairwise comparison method. The descriptive quantitative aimed to calculate added value of each agent by using hayami method. The result of the research showed that there are two supply chains of copra structure namely chain I were from farmers, collector traders, then CV Amarta and chain II were from farmer then CV Amarta. The calculation result of added value ratio demonstrated that the farmer in chain I obtained 36% (medium), the collector traders obtained 45% (high), and CV Amarta chain I obtained 23% (medium) on the other hand, the farmer in chain II obtained the added value ratio precisely 34% (medium) and CV Amarta chain II obtained 64% (high). The priority of strategy by using pairwise comparison method that can be done by CV Amarta was improving distribution of raw materials and export copra 0.371.
