Faktor Penentu Yang Mempengaruhi Hasil Belajar Mata Pelajaran Ips Siswa Kelas VIII Di SMPN 43 Pekanbaru
Learning outcomes are changes in student behavior after the learning process is
carried out. Learning outcomes that are less than optimal are influenced by several
factors. Based on these problems, this study aims to determine the determinants
that influence the learning outcomes of social studies class VIII students at SMPN
43 Pekanbaru. The type of research used is descriptive research with a quantitative
approach. The population in this study were all students of class VIII, totaling 101
students. The sampling technique is a saturated sample, questionnaire as data
collection, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the
determinants that influence learning outcomes, namely interest, motivation, family
environment, school environment, and social media simultaneously affect learning
outcomes with an R2 value of 77.8% and each function factor is as follows, Y =
16.651 + 0.412X1 + 0.430X2 + 0.299X3 + 0.170X4 + 0.355X5. Thus it can be
concluded that the independent variables simultaneously and partially affect
learning outcomes (Y) with an R2 value of 77.8% and the most important
determining factors are motivation (X2) and interest (X1).
