Pengaruh Media Pembelajaran Atlas Digital Histologi Sistem Integumen Terhadap Tingkat Pengetahuan Mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Riau Angkatan 2022
ABSTRACT
Learning media enhances the engaging and interactive learning process, particularly in challenging fields like histology. Student challenges, including limited microscope experience and insufficient time for histology sessions, negatively affect academic performance. Hence, there's a need for alternative learning media to better assist students in understanding histology. This research aimed to investigate the influence of digital atlas learning media on students' knowledge levels in the histology of the integumentary system. The research design was an analytical pre-experimental design. The research instruments used were pre-test and post-test scores. The sampling technique employed was simple random sampling, with a minimum sample size of 104 participants, and in this study, a sample of 114 participants was obtained. The majority of research participants were female, totaling 86 individuals, with a higher level of knowledge compared to males. The knowledge level of research participants before using the digital atlas for histology of the integumentary system as a learning media was mostly categorized as insufficient. For the knowledge level of research participants after using the digital atlas for histology of the integumentary system as a learning media, the majority fell into the good category. The average pre-test and post-test scores were 51.25 and 85.46, respectively, with the Wilcoxon test yielding a p-value of 0.000. It can be concluded that there is a significant difference, indicating an improvement in pre-test and post-test scores.
