Strategi Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja dalam Menertibkan Tempat Hiburan Umum Karaoke Kota Pekanbaru

Pekanbaru City has grown rapidly and become the center of Riau Province in education, trade, industry, and services. Rapid population growth has brought economic and social impacts but has also created social problems such as Commercial Sex Workers (CSW) who roam a lot in public entertainment venues. Regional Regulations have been issued to regulate the behavior of the community and public entertainment venues, including Regional Regulation Number 13 of 2021 concerning Public Order and Regional Regulation Number 03 of 2002 concerning Public Entertainment. This research aims to analyze the Strategy and identify factors that hinder the Strategy implemented by the Civil Service Police Unit in curbing Commercial Sex Workers (CSW) in Public Entertainment Places in Pekanbaru City. This research uses Mintzberg's theory in Asaretkha Adjane Annisawati (2022) which uses indicators: Plan, Ploy, Pattern, Position, Perspective. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The results of this study found that the strategy determined by the Pekanbaru Pamong Praja Police Unit in curbing Commercial Sex Workers (CSW) in public entertainment places is still not good, this is because the strategy carried out is still the same as the previous strategy and does not keep up with current times, then the Pekanbaru Pamong Praja Police Unit is less assertive in curbing Commercial Sex Workers (CSW) who roam in public entertainment places. And finally, the Pekanbaru Pamong Praja Police Unit feels that the strategies that have been made and implemented are very good, but the facts are not as stated, there are still many Commercial Sex Workers hanging around in public entertainment places..
