Uji Fitokimia dan Aktivitas Antioksidan Daun Tampoi (Baccaurea Macrocarpa (Miq.)Mull.Arg) dari Hutan Larangan Adat Ghimbo Potai Berdasarkan Lokasi dan Umur Daun
The use of tampoi (Baccaurea macrocarpa (Miq.)Mull.Arg) as a wound cure material is controlled by the availability of seasonal fruit. Environmental factors and leaf age can affect the content of secondary metabolites. The study aims to compare the results of phytochemical tests and the antioxidant activity of tampoi leaves based on the location and leaves age. Leaves tampoi extract was made by maceration method using 70% methanol solvent. Phytochemical tests were carried out qualitatively and antioxidant activity test was carried out using the DPPH method (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl). The results of phytochemical tests showed that tampoi leaves extracts in 1st and 2nd location contained alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, triterpenoids and tannins. Tampoi leaves 1st location showed higher levels of secondary metabolites than 2nd location. The antioxidant activity test showed that the leaf extracts from the old leaf 2nd have the strongest IC50 with a value of 5,95 μg/mL. Tampoi leaves at 1st location have more secondary metabolites than 2nd location. Secondary metabolite compounds alkaloids, flavonoids and triterpenoids are more present in mature leaves. Antioxidant activity of leaves at 2nd location is stronger than 1st location. Mature leaves have more antioxidant activity than young leaves with a vlue of 5,95 μg/mL.
