Strategi Pelaksanaan Teknik Hydroseeding Pasca Operasi Pertambangan Minyak
Mining activities have made a major contribution to various aspects of life throughout the world. In the biophysical aspect, mining activities can cause direct changes in land cover. Apart from areas that are directly affected by environmental damage due to oil mining, there are several other areas that have an indirect impact on mining activities. One of them is the borrow pit area, which is an area of land designated as embankment material. One approach to restore soil quality and prevent land degradation is hydroseeding. This research was preceded by describing the process of working on the Hydroseeding Technique, analyzing the ecological, economic and social aspects of the hydroseeding work and formulating a strategy for implementing the Hydroseeding Technique to achieve a minimum 60% percentage of plant growth used in the hydroseeding work using Legume Cover Crops (LCC) plants.
The research results show that the land borrowing the Minas 8D-53E pit is dominated by furrow - ditch erosion with an area of 36.7% of the total land area, which is around 0.477 ha with a land erosion rate of 0.586 tons/ha. After using the Hydroseeding Technique, the land erosion rate was reduced to 0.017 tons/ha or 97,09%. The costs incurred for hydroseeding work are Rp. 1,560,000,000,- shows that a lot of costs are needed in this work. Meanwhile, the social value of this work is known that people who are directly involved in hydroseeding work earn an average income of IDR 4,065,000/month or above the UMR figure for Siak Regency. Based on the results of analysis of interview data with media questionnaires, it was found that the factors that influence hydroseeding work were formulated through SWOT analysis and management strategies resulting from plotting using the SWOT diagram fell into Quadrant I, S-O (strengths-opportunities) strategy, which means carrying out work Hydroseeding technique objectives can be achieved optimally by using the company's internal strengths to seize opportunities that exist outside the company, namely: (a) Evaluating and selecting appropriate, nutrient-rich materials and using environmentally friendly materials in implementing the hydroseeding technique; (b) Improving company performance in improving the environment, in order to gain the trust of society, government and world markets; (c) Conduct periodic outreach regarding work procedures to all hydroseeding engineering workers; (d) Monitoring and evaluating the social impacts of Hydroseeding Engineering work.
