Analisis Usaha dan Strategi Pengembangan Agroindustri Keripik Ubi Kayu (Studi Kasus Keripik Ubi Kayu Ibu Ida di Kelurahan Pangkalan Kerinci Timur Kecamatan Pangkalan Kerinci Kabupaten Pelalawan)
Indonesia is developing country with a competitive agricultural sector. In reality significant portion of its population considers agriculture as one of the main sources of livelihood, particularly in the Riau Province. Riau Province is one of the regions with enormous potential in the agricultural sector. Besides plantations, staple crops are widely cultivated in Riau Province. Staple crops, including cassava, are rich in nutrients and are beneficial for anyone who consumes them. Cassava serves as the primary raw material for the cassava chip agro-industry. Cassava chips are a food product originating from slices of cassava, fried with or without additional ingredients. Processing cassava into cassava chips is an effort to increase consumer interest in consuming cassava. Despite many cassava agro-industries operating on a small scale for a long time with limited development, such as Ibu Ida's cassava chips in the Pangkalan Kerinci Timur Village, Pangkalan Kerinci District, Pelalawan Regency. This research aims to calculate the production cost, which amounts to Rp.16.787.018,57, revenue of Rp.25.200.000,00 income expenses of Rp.8.412.981,43, and added value of Rp.10.141,65 for Ibu Ida's cassava chip agroindustry. The study provides development strategies through internal and external factor analysis using SWOT analysis, followed by the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), resulting in eight strategies that business owner can implement to develop their ventures.
