Dampak Pengangguran Terbuka Terhadap Kemiskinan Di Kota Pekanbaru

This research aims to find out the impact of open unemployment and poverty on the economy, social and education in Pekanbaru City. The research method used in this thesis is a qualitative descriptive method. The data in this research was obtained from secondary data. The data collection technique used is literature study, namely by collecting data originating from various literature sources related to the problem being studied. The research results show that (1) The impact on the economy is measured through Per Capita Income and Community Purchasing Power. Unemployment and poverty have an impact on per capita income and unemployment and poverty rates which fluctuate and tend to decrease during the research period have a significant impact on people's purchasing power. (2) The impact on society is measured through crime and homelessness and beggars. Based on research results, it shows that unemployment can have a negative impact on crime in Pekanbaru City. And unemployment and poverty can be factors that push someone to become a homeless beggar. (3) Impact on education as measured through Education Participation and Education Completed. The impact of unemployment and poverty can affect people's educational participation, especially at secondary education levels such as high school. Furthermore, completed education Unemployment and poverty can be factors that limit educational access and opportunities for individuals who have completed high school level education.
