This thesis discusses the implementation of the Tanjung Sawit Village transmigration program. The focus in this writing is on the socio-economic life of transmigrants in Tanjung Sawit Village in Tapung/Kampar. In 1993, the aim of this research was to determine the socio-economic development of the Tanjung Sawit Village community,
This research uses descriptive qualitative, the data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through interviews and secondary data was obtained from documentation studies or reading references relevant to the research discussion. The data was processed and analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis using data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions.
The research results show that socio-economic development cannot be separated from the role of transmigration which supports the socio-economic development of Tanjung Sawit Village. With the transmigration in Tanjung Sawit Village, there has been progress in facilities and infrastructure as well as the community's economy which is slowly improving.
