Perancangan Martial Artarena Di Kota Rengat Dengan Pendekatan Passive Cooling
Martial arts is an art that is in great demand from all walks of life and currently there are at least five types of martial arts in Rengat. The development of martial arts sports in Rengat is increasing every year, marked by the departure of athletes to championships at both national and international levels. However, the increase in the development of this sport has not been accompanied by an increase in facilities and infrastructure to support the quality of the athletes who train in it. Therefore, there is a need for a forum that can accommodate and facilitate activities for athletes and martial arts practitioners in Rengat in the form of a Martial Art Arena. The design of the Martial Arts Arena uses a Passive Cooling approach as a method of naturally cooling the room temperature. A room in which there is intense physical activity, if there is no good air circulation, will have a negative impact on the health of the people inside, for this reason the Passive Cooling approach is considered very suitable for designing this Martial Art Arena. Case Study and simulation methods were used in designing the Martial Art Arena, by collecting existing case studies which were then used as references in the design, then carrying out simulations related to air circulation efficiency using software. By using a passive cooling approach, this design is expected to become a forum for martial arts athletes in Rengat who can improve the quality of training and competition.
