Struktur Komunitas Gastropoda Pada Ekosistem Lamun Di Perairan Pantai Binasi Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah Provinsi Sumatera Utara

Research on Gastropod Community Structure in Seagrass Ecosystem of Binasi Beach Waters, Central Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra Province was conducted in may-june 2023. This study aims to determine the structure of the gastropod community in seagrass ecosystems in the waters of Binasi Beach, Central Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra Province which includes, Seagrass density, Gastropod Density, Diversity Index, uniformity index and Gastopod Dominance Index. The method used in the research is survey method. Sampling of gastropods and seagrasses using purposive sampling method. From the results of the study obtained 8 species of gastropods with a density value of 8,33-13,12 ind/m2. Based on the results of the analysis, the value of the diversity index (H') ranged from 2,459-2,729 categorized as moderate, the uniformity index (E) ranged from 0,876-0,909 categorized as high and the dominance index ranged from 0,176-0,216 which means that there are no dominant gastropod species in Binasi Beach Waters, Central Tapanuli Regency. From the results of simple regression, it was found that the strength of the relationship between seagrass density and gastropod density was categorized as strong.
