Pengembangan Modul Matematika Berbasis Problem Based Learning Materi Persamaan Garis Lurus Untuk Memfasilitasi Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Peserta Didik SMP Kelas VIII
This research aims to produce a Problem Based Learning (PBL) Mathematics Module on the topic of linear equations, which facilitates the mathematical problem-solving abilities of junior high school students who have met the criteria for validity and practicality. The research method used in this study is Research and Development using the 4-D development model, consisting of four stages: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The subjects of this research are eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Pasir Penyu. Data collection instruments used include validation sheets to assess the validity of the mathematics module, and student response questionnaires to assess the practicality of the module. The validation results from three experts show that the mathematics module has an average score of 3.67 with a category of very valid. Trials with students were conducted twice, namely small group trials and large group trials. The results of the small group trial indicate that the mathematics module has an average score of 3.66 with a category of very practical. The results of the large group trial show that the mathematics module has an average score of 3.57 with a category of very practical as well. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning mathematics module on the topic of linear equations has met the criteria for validity and practicality to facilitate the mathematical problem-solving abilities of eighth-grade junior high school students.
