ABSTRACT
Every citizen has the right to civil registration in the sense of having the right to request an authentic certificate from a state official. It is still rare for people to realize how important a deed is for them in supporting their lives. The aim of this research is to determine public services at the Population and Civil Registration Service of Kuantan Singingi Regency as well as the inhibiting factors in public services at the Population and Civil Registration Service of Kuantan Singingi Regency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research approach. Various important information, both essential and additional information, is collected through interviews, observation and documentation, then analyzed with the aim of drawing conclusions from the current study problems. The results of research conducted regarding public services at the Population and Civil Registration Service of Kuantan Singingi Regency are that the services for identity cards, family cards and birth certificates have not been running well because there are still inhibiting factors in the service, namely the lack of public awareness of the importance of taking care of identity cards. , Family cards, and birth certificates as well as public services at the Population and Civil Registration Service of Kuantan Singingi Regency regarding Justice, convenience, care, reliability, comfort and public trust in the Population and Civil Registration Service of Kuantan Singingi Regency, which are obstacles in making birth certificates, Family cards and identity cards are the first obstacle to limited service budgets. The second obstacle is lack of socialization related to population administration. The third obstacle is the lack of employees who serve the community.
