Prediksi Penjualan Suku Cadang Kendaraan Menggunakan Metode Moving Average Pada Cv. Subur Motor

At this time there are many efforts made by companies to be able to increase sales of a company's products, one of which is to make the right sales predictions (forecasting) in the future. Subur Motor is a workshop that serves the purchase and sale of spare parts for various vehicles, one of which is a car. Product sales prediction is very important to be able to control product stock and effective sales planning. This study aims to predict the sales of car parts at Subur Motor using the Moving Average method. The data used is sales data taken from May 2021 to September 2022. Sales data is calculated using Moving Average for 3 months and 4 months with forecasting accuracy measurements using Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD), Mean Squared Error (MSE), and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). Based on the results of the forecasting accuracy calculation, it is found that the Moving Average method with a period of 3 months is the most suitable method because it has the smallest error rate which has an MAD value of 568.57, MSE of 596051.90, and MAPE of 21.18.
