Model Pengelolaan Perikanan Terubuk (Tenualosa Ilisha) Yang Berkelanjutan Di Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Provinsi Sumatera Utara
This research was carried out in August to December 2022 in phase 1 research and March to July 2023 in phase 2 research and phase 3 research was carried out in October 2023 to January 2024 in the waters of Sei Barumun, Labuhanbatu Regency. This research aims to analyze the optimization of use of terubuk fish resources in Sei Barumun waters, analyze the sustainability status of management of terubuk fish resources, determine alternative livelihoods (MPA) and development strategies for terubuk fishers in Sei Barumun waters as well as determining a sustainable management model for terubuk fisheries in the waters of Sei Barumun, Labuhanbatu Regency. The research method used is a survey method. The data used is time series data for 2014-2021 which includes production data and number of trips obtained from the Maritime and Fisheries Service of Labuhanbatu Regency and interviews obtained from terubuk fishermen and related stakeholders. Analysis of Optimization of Resource Utilization based on average production in 2014-2021, terubuk fish in Sei Barumun waters, Labuhanbatu Regency, North Sumatra Province has been overexploited with a utilization rate of 81% (has exceeded the MSY level) and an effort level of 128% (has exceeded the effort optimum, resulting in overfishing). Analysis of the sustainability status of management of terubuk fish resources in Sei Barumun waters, Labuhanbatu Regency using Rapfish-Irbidetri, the results of the average sustainability index value of terubuk fish resources based on five dimensions (environmental dimension, fish resource dimension, facilities and technology dimension, social dimension and economic, as well as institutional and governance dimensions), terubuk fish resources in Sei Barumun waters are less sustainable with a value of 42.82 (
