Optimasi Alokasi Air Untuk Daerah Irigasi Lubuk Ambacang I Kecamatan Kuantan Mudik Menggunakan Program Linier
CHAHYANI PUTRI, NIM: 2110246972. OPTIMIZATION OF WATER ALLOCATION FOR THE LUBUK AMBACANG I IRRIGATION AREA, KUANTAN MUDIK DISTRICT USING LINEAR PROGRAM.
Supervised by Imam Suprayogi and Manyuk Fauzi
Due to inefficient use of land and air, plant productivity in the Lubuk Ambacang I Irrigation Area which receives air from the Kobun Nopi Dam in Kuantan Mudik District has decreased. Therefore, it is necessary to regulate planting patterns so that crop production is more optimal through the application of optimization techniques and designing irrigation systems that distribute air evenly throughout the irrigation network in Lubuk Ambacang in order to increase agricultural yields. Linear programming is a method used for optimization.
The main objective of this research is to analyze the Lubuk Ambacang I irrigation area to maximize profits by knowing the water availability and air requirements for rice and secondary crops (peanuts). The formula, for example maximum profit, is an example of an objective function. Land area and debit availability are two examples of constraints that can be represented mathematically with a constraint function. In the dry season, optimization is carried out by considering two planting variables, namely the primary rice crop and the secondary peanut crop.
The output results from a linear program with a secondary crop rice planting pattern have a maximum profit of IDR. 1,542,668,000.00 with an area of 180 hectares each for rice in the first planting season, 20 hectares for peanuts as secondary crops in the third planting season. This research can be utilized by related agencies and farmers in the Lubuk Ambacang I irrigation area.
