Kandungan Mikroplastik Pada Lambung Dan Usus Ikan Guppy (Poecilia Reticulata) Di Waduk Plta Koto Panjang, Kabupaten Kampar, Provinsi Riau
Koto Panjang Reservoir has been contaminated with microplastics which have been found in the water body and in several fish classified as large fish in previous research. This allows microplastics to be ingested in small fish, such as guppies. The aim of this research was to determine the number of types and abundance of microplastics in the intestines and stomachs of guppy fish and to determine differences in the number of types and abundance of microplastics at three research stations in the Koto Panjang Reservoir. The research was conducted in March–May 2024 in the waters of the Koto Panjang Hydroelectric Reservoir and the Aquatic Ecology Laboratory. The research results showed that the types of microplastics identified were film, fiber, fragment, foam, pellet and granular. The highest abundance of microplastics was at station 3 in the stomachs of film type guppies, around 4.44 particles/individual. The high abundance of microplastics based on size class is in the 2.9-4.4 cm size class.
