ANALISA LOST ENERGI PADA MP PRV 1 (PRESSURE REDUCING VALVE)

Steam turbines have outputs in the form of electricity, steam (sootblower, MP and
LP) and condensate. The MP and LP steam needs of the area every day are
certainly different and the ability of the Turbine to produce MP and LP every day
is different depending on the power or load requirements needed by the area. To
meet the unmet needs of MP and LP steam, the Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV)
will be opened. The data used in this observation is secondary data, this data is
obtained from the engineering process. Total steam production during MP PRV 1
open is 880.81 Kg can be totaled Company losses during MP PRV 1 opened at
$12.24 based on the difference in steam prices. Total losses incurred during MP
PRV 1 open was 32992.888 Kj/Kg and total lost energy during MP PRV 1 open
was 41.202 Kg. Total lost power during MP PRV 1 open is 440, 405 MW. The
total lost cost during MP PRV 1 open is $33.030,375
