PRA RANCANGAN PABRIK ETIL TERSIER BUTIL ETER (ETBE) DARI TERSIER BUTIL ALKOHOL DAN ETANOL DENGAN DESAIN ALAT UTAMA REAKTOR FIXED BED MULTITUBE (R-102)

Ethyl Tertiary Butyl Eter is a chemical that enhances fuel octains and reduces the
production of toxic hydrocarbons. The plant is planned to operate 330 days a year
and operate continuously 24 hours a day with a capacity of 55,000 tonnes a year
to be established in Serang, Banten. The selected company form is a Limited
Company with a line and staff organization system. The employee's work system is
based on the division of working hours consisting of shift and non-shift employees.
The main tool design at this factory is a fixed-bed multitube reactor. (R-102).
Economic analysis in the design of this plant shows that this plant is worthy of
establishment. Based on the factory's economic viability, the methacrolein methyl
methacrylate plant is worthy to be established with a PBP of 3.05 years, an IRR of
22.63%, a ROI of 29%, and a BEP of 37%.
