ANALISIS KINERJA BUNDARAN TUGU SONGKET MELAYU DENGAN METODE PKJI 2023 DAN PERAMALAN UNTUK 5 TAHUN MENDATANG

Tugu Songket Melayu Roundabout is a roundabout that regulates the four-arm
intersection of SM Amin street and Tuanku Tambusai street Pekanbaru. Increasing
population growth has resulted in higher transportation needs. Based on a
preliminary survey, the traffic volume through this roundabout is 6900 smp / hour,
the degree of saturation of the roundabout is 0.97 with an average roundabout delay
of 18.222 sec / hour and a roundabout queuing opportunity of 35-73%. The
roundabout performance analysis in this study uses PKJI 2023 and the compound
interest formula for forecasting. The highest traffic volume occurred on Tuesday
with a total of 10691 vehicles/hour or 7113.6 smp/hour. The results of the
performance analysis of the existing roundabout obtained a degree of saturation of
0.944, an average roundabout delay of 16.078 seconds and a queuing opportunity
of 39-78%. The results of forecasting traffic volume obtained the degree of
saturation in year 5 is 1.438, the average roundabout delay is 2.366 seconds and
the queuing opportunity is 174-246%. Because the degree of saturation > 85 then
made 3 scenarios of completion. Scenario 1, namely geometric improvements,
obtained the degree of saturation in year 5 is 0.896, the average roundabout delay
is 14.698 seconds and the queue opportunity is 25-57%. Scenario 2, namely the
addition of traffic signals, obtained the highest degree of saturation in year 5,
namely 0.841, an average delay of 60.569 seconds on approach B. Scenario 3,
namely geometric improvements and the addition of traffic signals, obtained the
highest degree of saturation in year 5, namely 0.841, average delay of 60.569
seconds on approach B.
