PENILAIAN KONDISI KERUSAKAN JALAN GARUDA KOTA PEKANBARU DENGAN METODE SURFACE DISTRESS INDEX (SDI)

Road damage is one of the things that must be overcome at this time, one of
which is found on the Garuda road in Pekanbaru city with an overall road length
of 1,400 meters and a road width of 5 meters, making it inconvenient for motorists
who pass the road so that repairs are needed on the road starting with knowing the
types of damage that exist. The purpose of this study is to determine the types of
damage to Jalan Garuda Kota Pekanbaru STA 0+000 to STA 1+400 and
determine the value of road pavement conditions using the Surface Distress Index
(SDI) method. From the results of the damage analysis, the type of damage that
exists on the Garuda Road section of Pekanbaru City is obtained STA 0 + 000 to 1
+ 400, which according to the SDI method there are 4 elements of damage,
namely the percentage of crack area obtained as a whole is 17.55%, the average
crack width is 250.68 mm, the number of holes is 55 pieces of damage, and the
average depth of the wheel marks is 27.5 mm. The calculation of SDI road
conditions is obtained at STA 0+000-STA 0+100, STA 00+300- STA 00+600,
STA 1+100-STA 1+400 is in good condition, STA 0+200-STA-0+300 is in
moderate condition. STA 00+100-STA 00+200, STA 01+000-STA 01+100 are in
a slightly damaged condition. STA 00+600-STA 00+700 is in a heavily damaged
condition. So for the condition on the road the garden works is still in good
condition
