Evaluasi Saluran Drainase Jalan Teladan Kecamatan Tampan Dengan Menggunakan Software Epa SWMM

Urban flooding is triggered by changes in land use from open areas to residential areas. Therefore, this research aims to determine the existing condition of drainage channels and solutions to overcome problems in drainage channels in Tampan District, especially on Jalan Teladan, where water often occurs when it rains, because there is a lot of accumulation of rubbish, sedimentation, and damage and size. Existing channels that are not the same cause water to not flow normally. This research uses rainfall data that occurred over 10 years obtained from the relevant service agencies and conducted a survey in the field to find out the problems that occurred. After obtaining all the data, the next step is processing the data with appropriate theoretical material to obtain comparative data from the results that already exist in the field. After getting the data processing results, the data is then input into the EPA SWMM 5.2 application. From the simulation results, it was found that the channel dimensions capable of dealing with flooding were channel width (B) 0.75 m, channel depth (H) 0.90 m.
