Gambaran Kelengkapan Pengisian Informed Consent Oleh Petugas Pada Kasus Kekerasan Seksual Di Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Pekanbaru

Informed consent is a form of patient approval after receiving a comprehensive explanation of the medical procedure to be performed. In cases of sexual violence, informed consent becomes crucial to protect the rights of the victim and ensure that medical actions are conducted with lawful consent, as well as to influence the quality of hospital services. This study aims to describe the completeness of informed consent documentation by officers in cases of sexual violence at Bhayangkara Hospital in Pekanbaru and is presented in narrative form. The research uses a quantitative descriptive method with a documentary study approach. Data was collected by reviewing and observing informed consent reports in medical records filled out by health personnel involved in handling sexual violence cases in 2022, with a total sample of 101 informed consent forms in medical records. The results of the study showed that the element with the highest completeness was the Victim/Guardian Signature, with 100 forms (99%). Meanwhile, the element with the highest incompleteness was the Others section, with 101 forms (100%). The average percentage of completeness in filling out the elements of informed consent was recorded at 43.9%, while the average percentage of incompleteness reached 56.1%. This study also revealed that none of the informed consent documents were filled out completely (0%). Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the completeness of informed consent documentation by officers does not yet comply with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia's regulation Number 129/Menkes/SK/II/2008, which requires 100% completeness. This study underscores the importance of increasing healthcare workers awareness regarding informed consent documentation, especially in handling cases of sexual violence.
