Income is a very important element in a trading business, because in doing a business of course you want to know the value or amount of income obtained during the business. The source of income for fishermen is income from working as fishermen. This study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the level of income of fishermen and analyzing strategies for increasing fishermen's income in Purnama Village, West Dumai District, Dumai City, Riau Province. The method used in this study is the survey method by conducting direct observations in the field (observations) by interviewing a number of fishermen in Purnama Village, West Dumai District. Data analysis used in this study is the descriptive analysis method and income analysis. Based on the results and discussion of this study, it can be concluded that (1) Fishermen's income is IDR 19.254.000 year-1. The use of adequate fishing gear will affect the amount of fishermen's catch, so the income that fishermen will get will also increase and the price of fish also has a significant effect on fishermen's income. (2) The strategy for increasing fishermen's income is an aggressive strategy which is in quadrant I based on the grand strategy matrix which is indicated by the value x = 1.15 < 0 and the value y
= 0.10> 0. The alternative strategy for increasing fishermen's income in Purnama sub-district is optimizing production for market demand and optimizing fisheries support facilities such as TPI/Ports as a medium for increasing fishermen's income.
