Asimilasimigran Jawa Dengan Penduduk Tempatan (Studi Kasus Di Jorong Purwajaya Nagari Harau Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota)
This study was conducted in Jorong Purwajaya, Nagari Harau, Lima Puluh Kota Regency, which aims to see the assimilation that occurs in various aspects of community life to determine the factors that drive and inhibit the occurrence of assimilation. The study used a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. The number of research subjects was 5 families, one of the family members who underwent a mixed marriage (amalgamation) between husband or wife, 1 key informant, namely the head of Jorong Purwajaya. The theory used is the Assimilation Theory according to Koentjaraningrat quoted from Rosita (2015). The results of this study indicate that intensive assimilation has occurred in Jorong Purwajaya, in terms of language, marriage, and art. The factors driving assimilation include attitudes of tolerance, reciprocal benefits, sympathy and marriage factors. While the inhibiting factors include only differences in religion for certain views.
