Aplikasi Konsep Continuous Green-T (CGT) Intersection Pada Simpang Bersinyal JL HR. Soebrantas – JL SM. Amin Pekanbaru Berdasarkan Mikrosimulasi PTV VISSIM
The signalized intersection of Jl. HR. Soebrantas - Jl. SM. Amin is one of the intersections that experience congestion problems in Pekanbaru City. This is because this intersection connects several important areas such as education, offices, trade centers, and settlements which result in congestion and queues especially during peak hours. Therefore, this study conducted an alternative to overcome the congestion problem at the intersection by applying the Continuous Green-T(CGT) Intersection design. This study aims to analyze the performance of the intersection under existing conditions and analyze the performance of the intersection after applying the CGT design. The methods used in this research are PKJI 2023 and vissim microsimulation. The results of the intersection performance analysis on existing conditions using PKJI 2023 obtained an average intersection delay value of 39.7 seconds (LOS D), while based on vissim microsimulation obtained an average intersection delay value of 62.5 seconds (LOS F). The results of improving intersection performance in alternative 1 in the form of optimizing cycle time obtained an average intersection delay value of 32.9 seconds (LOS D). While in alternative 2 in the form of applying CGT, the average intersection delay value is 19.3 seconds (LOS C). Based on all the alternatives modeled, it can be concluded that the application of CGT is more effective in reducing the delay value which can reduce the average intersection delay value by 43.2 seconds and increase the Level Of Service from F to C.
