Pengembangan Kit Fisika Berbasis Etnofisika Menggunakan Alat Tradisional Melayu Riau
Education is said to be absolute because it cannot be separated from a person's life, both in individual life and in the nation and state. Education can also be a long process to achieve a general goal, and to achieve this goal, the process must be carried out in stages. Science learning will direct student-centeredness. This event will emphasize participants to be actively involved in the learning process and then foster students' understanding of concepts in learning and in solving problems that are often encountered in everyday life. In general, science covers three basic fields of science, namely chemistry, biology and physics.
The aim of this research is to create an Ethnophysics-Based Physics KIT and develop student worksheets that have been adapted to material on Energy Business and Simple Aircraft and followed by adjustments to the Ethnophysics- Based Physics KIT and to test the validity and practicality of the Ethnophysics- Based Physics KIT Using Riau Malay Traditional Tools to what extent see that the KIT that is made is valid based on its aspects and the practicality of using the Ethnophysics-Based Physics KIT that is made.
The type of research used is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model type. The researcher chose this type of research because the researcher will develop Ethnophysics-based learning media for junior high school science in the material Business and Energy, Simple Planes which are in the form of tools and Student Worksheets.
The product trial in the form of an Ethnophysics-based Physics KIT is intended to identify the level of validity and practicality of the Ethnophysics-based Physics KIT being developed. The test subjects to see the validity of the Ethnophysics-based Physics KIT are validators. Meanwhile, the practicality test subjects for the Ethnophysics-based Physics KIT were 3 teachers and 35 class IX students of SMP N 23 Pekanbaru in limited group testing, the aim was to obtain data and evaluate the Ethnophysics-based Physics KIT as well as the goal of achieving a valid and practical Physics KIT product.
Based on the validation results, the Ethnophysics-Based Physics KIT and Student Worksheets can be said to be valid and suitable for use as media for junior high school science learning and the practical results carried out by teachers and students for the Ethnophysics-Based Physics KIT and Student Worksheets can be said to be Practical and easy to use .
