Analisis strategi blue economy dalam mempertahankan keseimbangan terumbu karang: studi kasus di perairan amed, bali
Amed Waters, Bali is one of the areas that utilize coral reefs in economic development. However, climate change, human activities and other factors have threatened the condition of coral reefs in Amed Waters. Damage to coral reefs can have an impact on the community's economy. This study aims to determine the condition and social and economic potential of coral reefs and examine the appropriate blue economy strategy in maintaining the balance of coral reefs in Amed Waters, Bali. This research was conducted in September-November 2024. This research used survey methods or direct field data collection such as Underwater Photo Transect (UPT) to generate data on the percentage of coral cover, interviews to generate data on the carrying capacity of the area and the study of the socio-economic potential of coral reefs, and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to formulate blu economy strategies. The results showed that coral reefs in Amed Waters based on the percentage of coral cover and the results of interviews can be said to be classified in the category of poor damage, so that conservation efforts and sustainable management are needed to maintain the balance of coral reefs.nCoral reefs have social and economic potential in the fisheries sector with a fishing group of 19 people and marine tourism in the form of diving and snorkeling. The main focus in community economic development is the tourism sector. The blue economy strategy that can be applied in coral reef conservation in Amed Waters, Bali is to focus on environmental aspects of coral reef health, economic aspects of increasing community income and social aspects of community participation.
