Pengaruh Kompos Jerami Padi Dan Pupuk Npk Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Bawang Merah (Allium Ascalonicum L.)
ABSTRACT
Shallot (Allium ascalonicum L.) is a horticultural crop that is useful as a seasoning and medicine. The need for shallots is increasing as the population increases. Efforts to increase production can be done through fertilization. Rice straw compost organic fertilizer can improve soil structure and increase soil microbial activity. NPK inorganic fertilizer is also needed by shallot plants. The purpose of this research is to study and determine the effect of the interaction of rice straw compost with NPK fertilizer and each factor, and get the best combination that can increase the growth and production of shallots. This study used a factorial complete randomized design (CRD) consisting of two factors. The first factor is rice straw compost: without rice straw compost, 10 t.ha-1, 20 t.ha-1 and 30 t.ha-1. Second factor NPK fertilizer: 200 kg.ha-1, 300 kg.ha-1, 400 kg.ha-1. Based on the two treatments, 12 combinations were obtained, each repeated three times to obtain 36 experimental plots. The data obtained were statistically analyzed using variance analysis and continued with Duncan's New Multiple Range Test at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of rice straw compost and NPK fertilizer had no effect on all observation parameters. Rice straw compost application had no effect on all observation parameters. The application of 300 kg.ha-1 NPK fertilizer increased plant height, bulb diameter, wet bulb weight per clump, wet bulb weight per plot, dry bulb weight per clump and dry bulb weight per plot in shallots. The combination of 30 t.ha-1 rice straw compost and 300 kg.ha-1 NPK fertilizer increased plant height, but had no effect on the generative growth of shallots.
