Respons Pertumbuhan Bibit Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq.) Terhadap Aplikasi Kompos Sludge Dan Pupuk N, P Dan K Pada Tahap Main Nursery
ABSTRACT
This research aims to determine the interaction of providing compost sludge and N, P and K fertilizer, and to obtain the best dose for the growth of oil palm plants (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) in the main nursery on ultisol media. This research was conducted using a factorial completely randomized design (RAL) consisting of two factors. The first factor of sludge compost consists of three levels: S1: 10 g, S2: 20 g, S3: 30 g per plant, The second factor of N, P, and K fertilizer consists of three levels: P1: 50% dose = Urea (10, 74 g) + SP-36 (13.8 g) + KCl (3.64 g), P2: 75% dose = Urea (16.1 g) + SP-36 (20.6 g) + KCl (5.46 g), P3: 100% dose = Urea (21.48 g) + SP-36 (27.5 g) + KCl (7.32 g) per plant. The parameters observed were increase in plant height, increase in tuber diameter, increase in number of leaves, root volume, fresh weight of stover, root crown ratio, dry weight of seedlings, and dry weight of shoots. The data were analyzed statistically using analysis of variance and the results of the real effect were followed by a BNJ test of 5%. Providing sludge compost with N, P, and K fertilizer has an influence on plant dry weight parameters. The best treatment interaction in increasing the growth of oil palm seedlings is the provision of 30 g dose of sludge compost and 100% dose of N, P and K fertilizer per plant.
Key words: Increase in number of leaves, Plant dry weight, Root volume, Ultisol
