Perancangan Pusat Rehabilitasi Narkoba Di Selatpanjang Dengan Pendekatan Healing Environment
ABSTRACT
Drug abuse in Indonesia, especially in Kepulauan Meranti Regency, is a serious threat to public health and socio-economic stability. Data from the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) shows an increase in drug cases in Indonesia, with 1,350 cases in 2022. This district also included 72 cases recorded that year. According to Law Number 35 of 2009, drug users are required to be rehabilitated, but rehabilitation facilities in Selatpanjang are still limited. Currently, only outpatient services are available at the Kepulauan Meranti Regency Hospital, while special inpatient facilities do not yet exist, which hinders the patient's healing process. Therefore, it is necessary to design drug rehabilitation facilities that support patient comfort and accelerate the healing process. Research shows that the environment plays an important role in recovery, with environmental factors contributing up to 40% to healing. The healing environment approach, which integrates elements of nature, psychology, and sensory stimulation, is key to creating an effective rehabilitation space. The three main principles in the healing environment are the natural environment, psychology, and the five senses, which can increase comfort and support the recovery process.
