This research was conducted on an organization that oversees athletes with disabilities, namely the National Paralympic Committee Indonesia (NPCI) in Pekanbaru City. The objectives of this study: 1) To find out the social support of athletes with disabilities. 2) To find out the motivation for the achievements of athletes with disabilities. 3) To find out the relationship between family social support and motivation of athletes with disabilities. This study uses an inferential quantitative method, involving all athletes with disabilities in the National Paralympic Committee Indonesia (NPCI) Pekanbaru City (n = 63) using a saturated sampling technique. The data instruments include questionnaires and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the social support of the respondents' families was 42.9% in the high category, 55.6% in the medium category and 1.6% in the low category. The motivation for the achievement of the respondents was 39.7% in the high category, 57.1% in the medium category and 3.2% in the low category. The results of the Pearson Product Moment correlation test showed a positive relationship (r = 0.389, sig. 0.002) and with the coefficient value in the interval of 0.20-0.399 which showed that the correlation was low to moderate. The level of relationship between family social support and the motivation of athletes with disabilities in this study is quite sufficient but not too strong. These results support the alternative hypothesis (Ha) in this study so that it is acceptable. This means that there is a relationship between family social support and the motivation of athletes with disabilities at the National ParalympicCommittee Indonesia (NPCI) Pekanbaru City.
