Pasar Kopi India Dan Peningkatan Ekspor Kopi Indonesia Tahun 2018-2022
In 2018, Indonesia's coffee exports to India amounted to only 2,237 tons. However, over the next four years, this figure steadily increased, reaching 43,651 tons in 2022. The growth of Indonesia's coffee exports to India during this period highlights an intriguing dynamic in international trade, making it a compelling subject for research. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the increase in Indonesia's coffee exports to India.
This research employs a qualitative method using secondary data obtained from trade reports, academic journals, as well as publications from the government and the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). The study is framed within the perspectives of Mercantilism and Export-Import theories.
The findings of this research indicate that the increase in Indonesia’s coffee exports to India is influenced by several factors, including India's growing demand for premium and specialty coffee, supportive tariff and non-tariff policies, and trade agreements between the two countries that facilitate market access. This study is expected to contribute academically to international trade studies and serve as a reference for policymakers in designing more strategic and sustainable export policies.
