Studi Eksperimental Unjuk Kerja Air Blast Freezing Dengan Sistem Refrigerasi Cascade Berkapasitas 25 Kg Dilengkapi Sistem Kontrol Temperatur Ruang
ABSTRACT
Refrigeration with blast freezer is very important to maintain the quality and nutritional value of food by slowing down spoilage, but many air blast freezing systems still use less environmentally friendly refrigerants, have limited cooling capacity, and imprecise temperature control so that there is a temperature deviation of ±4 ℃ in shrimp due to the compressor turning on and off and the evaporator being slow to lower the temperature back to -30 ℃; for this reason, it is necessary to use environmentally friendly refrigerants, increase the capacity of the cooling room, and have a more responsive temperature control system. The use of temperature control increases the COP at loads of 15 kg and 10 kg, but is not effective at loads of 25 kg. At a load of 25 kg, the COP actually decreases because the temperature does not reach the set point, so the control is inactive and there is no temperature deviation. Conversely, at loads of 15 kg and 10 kg, a temperature deviation of around 1°C indicates that the control system is working to maintain the temperature, so that efficiency increases.
