SUMMARY
This study discusses the forms and meanings of reduplication in Riau Malay in the Pematang Tiga Lorong Dialect in Indragiri Hulu Regency. The formulation of the problem in this study includes two main things, namely what are the forms of reduplication in Riau Malay in the Pematang Tiga Lorong Dialect and what is the meaning contained in the reduplication. This study aims to describe the forms and meanings of reduplication in the dialect. The theoretical benefits of this study are expected to broaden knowledge and become a reference in the field of education related to reduplication. Practically, this study is expected to enrich knowledge about reduplication in Riau Malay in the Pematang Tiga Lorong Dialect. In addition, educationally, the results of this study can be used as a reference for further research that discusses similar topics.
The data used in this study were obtained from conversations between speakers and interlocutors in the form of sentences. The sentences were then analyzed to identify the forms and meanings of reduplication contained in them. The data source came from the speech of the Pematang Tiga Lorong community. Data collection techniques used include fishing techniques, listening, engaging, taking notes, and recording. The collected data were then analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach, with data reduction techniques, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.
The results of this study identified four forms of reduplication in Riau Malay in the Pematang Tiga Lorong Dialect, namely full form reduplication, partial form reduplication, affixed form reduplication, and phoneme change form reduplication. The meanings contained in the reduplication include stating the meaning of many, stating the unconditional meaning, stating the meaning of resembling, stating actions that are carried out repeatedly, stating actions that are carried out at will, stating actions that are carried out by two parties regarding each other, stating things related to work, stating the meaning of somewhat, stating the

meaning of the highest level, stating the meaning of intensity of feelings, stating the meaning of many with various, and stating kamna many with size. This study provides an important contribution in enriching the study of reduplication in Riau Malay in the Pematang Tiga Lorong Dialect.
