Analisis Tingkat Pemahaman Guru Terhadap Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Pada Guru Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi Di SMA Se-Kota Pekanbaru
This study aims to analyze the level of teacher understanding and to identify supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka) among economics teachers at senior high schools (SMA) in Pekanbaru City. A descriptive quantitative approach and qualitative approach with a survey method was used, involving 88 economics teachers from the MGMP (Subject Teacher Forum). The findings indicate that 77.28% of teachers demonstrated good to excellent understanding in lesson planning, while only 39.77% showed the same level in learning implementation, and 53.41% in assessment. The main supporting factor was teacher readiness and competence, chosen by 53.41% of respondents. The main inhibiting factor was the lack of understanding of curriculum content (36.36%), followed by the absence of technical training (22.73%). These results highlight the need to strengthen teacher capacity through continuous training and professional mentoring to ensure optimal curriculum implementation.
