Analisis Jaringan Komunikasi Dalam Pengelolaan Hutan Mangrove Di Desa Teluk Pambang Kabupaten Bengkalis

ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze communication network patterns and the roles of
actors in mangrove forest management in Teluk Pambang Village, Bengkalis
Regency, as well as to examine the structure of individual-level communication
networks. Mangroves are important ecosystems that provide ecological and socioeconomic
functions, but their management faces challenges related to information
flow and collaboration among stakeholders. The study uses a mixed methods
approach with social network analysis (SNA) using UCINET 6 software to identify
patterns of connectivity, centrality, and the strategic position of actors. The results
show a wheel network pattern of communication dominated by interactions
between the Village Forest Management Institution (LPHD), the village
government, community groups, and NGOs. Central actors such as LPHD and
Pokmaswas play an important role as connectors and decision makers. This central
role strengthens collaboration, accelerates information flow, and supports
sustainable mangrove forest management. This study provides important insights
into improving the effectiveness of communication for community-based natural
resource management.
