Faktor-Faktor Yang Melatarbelakangi Mahasiswi Kesehatan Tidak Melakukan Pemeriksaan Pap Smear

The aim of the research is to know the factor-factor of the background for students not doing
health checks pap smear. The design of the research is simple descriptive with using a
sampling method that is purposive sampling which amounts to 61 responden. Measuring
instrument used was a questionnaire that has been tested validation and reliability. Analysis
used is the univariate analysis using the frequency distribution. The results showed the
characteristic of respondents by age is majority of respondents aged 29-33 year which
amounts 41,0%, majority of repondents Islam are 88,5%, majority respondent have tribes
Melayu are 49,2%, knowledge of high responden that is 55,7%, low responden motivation that
is 54,1%, positive perception of the responden is 55,7%, and the support provided supportive
husband is 57,4%. This study recommends to the student health in order to further motivate
himself again to do a pap smear as a means af early detection of cervical cancer, which is one
way to seek more information to women who have pap smears about his experience in
conducting pap smear examination in order not to worry, afraid to do a pap smear.
