Pengaruh Penggunaan Strategi Peer Lesson Terhadap Hasil Belajar Pkn Siswa Kelas Viii Smp Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru

This research was motivated by the low of students’ learning outcomes and educative interaction is that the relationship between teacher and student in the learning proces so that effeet on achievement which was obtained. The problems of this study whether the use of peer strategy lesson can effect to the result of the achievementor the eighth grade students of Junior High School Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru.
This research was conducted at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru in May 2013. The population in this study were all students of class VIII of SMP 2 Pekanbaru which populated 68 students. The design of this research is that giving pre-test before treatment, then do Lesson Peer strategy on conventional methods of experimental class and the control class, and then give a poet-test after treatment.
The results of the study showed the average value of students which were taught by Peer Lesson strategy got 63.08 before treatment, and 74.55 after receiving treatment. While the average value of students which were taught without using Peer Lesson strategy was 66.08 before getting treatment, and became 68.97 after receiving treatment. Based on t-test analysis of known values of t of both classes ( the experimental) class and the control class) is tcount>ttable or 2.38>1.980 which means there were differences in student learning result between student that were taught by using Peer strategy Lesson and students that were by taught using conventional methods. Thus, there are differences in the results of students who were taught by using Peer Lesson strategy wiyh students that taught by using conventional method in teaching civics class VIII. This was proved by the result of student learning of experimental class thas was higher than the control class. So, the hypothes is stated that the differences in the result of learning which were taught by using Peer Lessons strategy is accepted”.
