Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Bawang Merah (Allium Ascalonicum L.) Dengan Pemberian Trichokompos Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit Terformulasi dan Pupuk Kalium di Lahan Gambut
The research aimed to study the effect of the interaction granting Trichokompos oil palm empty fruit bunches (PEFB) formulated and potash fertilizers, a major influence both on the growth and yield and K nutrient uptake by plants of shallot (Allium ascalonicum L.) in peatlands. Research conducted experiments in the form of 4 x 3 factorial prepared using completely randomized design (CRD). Trichokompos PEFB formulated as the first factor consisted of 4 levels (15, 20, 25 and 30 ton /ha) and potassium fertilizers as the second factor consists of 3 levels (50, 100 and 150 kg K₂O /ha). Parameters observed include plant height, number of plantlet, clove number of sample, dry weight of sample, clove dry weight of sample and per m², and K nutrient uptake by shallot bulbs and leaves. The results showed that application of 25 ton /ha Trichokompos PEFB formulated and 100 kg K₂O /ha reduce tuber small diameter by 3 times (228.6%), otherwise increase tuber large diameter by 24 times (2324.2%), dry weight of tubers per clump sample by 2.5 times (154.5%), fresh weight of tuber per hill sample and per m² up to 1.7 times (71.3%) and K uptake by 2.8 times (185%) compared to the provision 15 ton /ha on the same dose of potassium fertilizer (100 kg K₂O /ha). Trichokompos dose increase PEFB formulated from 15 to 25 ton /ha reduce tuber small diameter, on the contrary increase the tuber large diameter, dry weight of tubers per sample clump, clump fresh weight of tubers per sample and per m² as well as K uptake by crops of shallot. Dose escalation to 30 ton /ha still affect the increase in these parameters except for the number of tubers smaller diameter and the number of tubers large diameter. Increasing doses of potassium fertilizers from 50 to 100 to 150 kg K₂O/ha did not affect all parameters observed.
