Dampak Multi National Cooperation (Mnc) Tiens Grup Terhadap Perkembangan Ekonomi Indonesia Tahun 1998-2002

The purpose of this study is to point out the impact of Tiens Multinational
Corporation (MNC) toward Indonesian economic development. Tiens cause the
capital flight phenomenon in Indonesia, because all of their company benefit from
Indonesia will turn back to China as their asset. Capital flight phenomenon of Tiens
make Indonesian economic growth and development become instability and make
same other impact such as lower investment, high interest.
The data were obtained from the internet, books, journals, and newspapers
which the period 1998-2002. To analyze the phenomenon the-writer utilized theories
of Transnational theory by Robert 0 Keohane and Backwash Effects theory by
Gunnar Myra/d. And for level analyze, the writer utilized Transnational cluster
analyze.
This research showed the negatife impact of Tiens Multinational Corporation
(MNC) for Indonesian economic, which were proved by high interest, low investment
and unemployment in 1998-2002.
