Umpatan Bahasa Jepang Dalam Drama My Boss My Hero (Kajian Sosiolinguistik)

The purpose of this research is to identify the use of swearing based on the context and the motive used to swear from the sosiolinguistics aspect, which to identify the factors that influenced the use of swearing. The research is a research sort of qualitative with the using Japanese drama My Boss My Hero. The data of this research 15 part of conversation in the Japanese drama. According to the result of analysis, it can be identified that based on the context, swearing is not only consider as the aggresiviness, but also can be used as the custom of communication in one particular grup (integrative), swearing also used as the joke or make fun from friend to friend (reggresive), besides swearing is also used as the revealness of furiosity, for example when someone is shocked, he spontaneously swearing (expletive). Meanwhile, the swearing motive is found 2 other motives, which are psycholinguistic and social motive. Then the social factor is also influenced the use of swearing that can be seen from social status and social relationship.
