This nal project discusses another method to compute the determinant of
matrices called the modern method. This method is introduced by Ahmed and
Bondar [Journal of Informatics and Mathematical Sciences, 6 (2014), 55-60], for
third order matrices. In this nal project the method is implemented for the
fourth order matrices.
