The current transformer is an apparatus used in measuring the current range of electric power installations on the primary side by transforming the large current range into a small current range so as to be measured by the amperemeter. In this research, a device consisting of current transformer with ratio 30/5, amperemeter and other supporting components. The system that has been made is then tested to measure the current. The measurement results are then compared with the predetermined current ratio. The tool made shows good enough measurement capability, where the error ratio of the current in the third core with the dimensions of 2.7 cm inner diameter, 5.7 cm in outer diameter and 5 cm high with a 5-wound winding.
